Fit a stand mixer with a whisk attachment or prepare a medium to large bowl and an electric hand mixer.

Place room temperature butter in the mixer bowl. Whip at high speed for 1–2 minutes until pale and fluffy, beginning at low speed to prevent splattering.

Turn off the mixer. Add 180 ml maple syrup and 1 g kosher salt. Whip until ingredients are fully integrated and smooth.

Taste the mixture. Add additional maple syrup or salt as desired, whipping briefly to combine.

Transfer whipped maple butter to an airtight container. Serve immediately or refrigerate for extended storage.
