Texas Toast French Dips (Print-Friendly Format)

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

01 - 8 slices frozen garlic Texas toast

→ Meat & Cheese

02 - 1 pound sliced deli roast beef
03 - 8 slices provolone cheese

→ Sauce

04 - 1 packet au jus gravy mix
05 - 720 milliliters cold water

→ Garnish

06 - Dried parsley, to serve (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Arrange Texas toast slices on the tray and bake according to package instructions, typically about 8 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
03 - While bread is baking, combine au jus gravy mix with 720 milliliters cold water in a saucepan and prepare as directed on package until fully dissolved and heated through.
04 - Add sliced deli roast beef to the prepared au jus and gently heat until just warmed through.
05 - Place a half slice of provolone cheese on each piece of baked Texas toast.
06 - Evenly divide warmed roast beef among the pieces of toast, covering the cheese.
07 - Place remaining half slices of provolone over the roast beef.
08 - Return assembled toasts to oven and bake for 3–5 minutes until cheese is completely melted.
09 - Remove from oven, optionally garnish with dried parsley, and serve immediately accompanied by warm au jus for dipping.
