01 -
Preheat oven to 220°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 -
Arrange Texas toast slices on the tray and bake according to package instructions, typically about 8 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
03 -
While bread is baking, combine au jus gravy mix with 720 milliliters cold water in a saucepan and prepare as directed on package until fully dissolved and heated through.
04 -
Add sliced deli roast beef to the prepared au jus and gently heat until just warmed through.
05 -
Place a half slice of provolone cheese on each piece of baked Texas toast.
06 -
Evenly divide warmed roast beef among the pieces of toast, covering the cheese.
07 -
Place remaining half slices of provolone over the roast beef.
08 -
Return assembled toasts to oven and bake for 3–5 minutes until cheese is completely melted.
09 -
Remove from oven, optionally garnish with dried parsley, and serve immediately accompanied by warm au jus for dipping.
