# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Infused Pear-Vanilla Base

01 - 720 ml high-quality pear juice or pear nectar blend
02 - 1 ripe pear, peeled, cored, and puréed (approximately 240 ml)
03 - 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped, including pod
04 - 15–30 ml maple syrup, adjusted to taste
05 - 1 small slice fresh ginger (optional)
06 - 1 small sprig fresh thyme or rosemary
07 - 1 small cinnamon stick (optional)

→ Assembly & Garnishes

08 - 240–360 ml chilled sparkling water
09 - Ice, large cubes preferred
10 - 1 lemon wedge (for rimming glasses)
11 - Cinnamon sugar mixture for glass rim
12 - Thin pear slices
13 - Vanilla bean pod
14 - Fresh thyme or rosemary
15 - Star anise (optional, for garnish)

→ Optional Cocktail Variant

16 - Chilled Prosecco, Champagne, or a light spirit such as pear brandy or vodka (substitute for a portion of the sparkling water)

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large pitcher, combine pear juice, pear purée, maple syrup, vanilla bean seeds and pod, ginger slice, thyme or rosemary, and cinnamon stick. Stir gently to blend. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours to allow flavors to infuse, but do not over-steep.
02 - While the base chills, rub a lemon wedge around the rim of each glass. Dip rims into a mixture of fine sugar and ground cinnamon (a pinch of vanilla powder is optional). Place large ice cubes in each prepared lowball cocktail glass.
03 - Just before serving, pour chilled sparkling water into the infused base (starting with 240 ml, adjusting as needed). Stir gently to maintain carbonation.
04 - Pour the mocktail base over ice in each glass. If desired, float a vanilla bean pod in each. Garnish with thin pear slices, a sprig of thyme or rosemary, and optionally a star anise for aroma and appearance.
05 - Replace part or all of the sparkling water with chilled Prosecco, Champagne, or a splash of pear brandy or vodka for an alcoholic version. Adjust proportions to taste.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For a smoother consistency, strain the pear purée before mixing.
02 - Adjust sweetness to your preference by tasting the base before adding the total amount of maple syrup.
03 - Ensure all components, including juice, glasses, ice, and sparkling water, are thoroughly chilled to prolong effervescence.
04 - Use large ice cubes to reduce dilution.
05 - Prepare the infused base in advance, but add sparkling elements immediately before serving.
06 - For individual servings, use approximately 180 ml infused base with 60 ml sparkling water per glass.
07 - Garnishes enhance both visual appeal and aroma; do not omit for optimal presentation.
08 - For a savory note, add a small sprig of rosemary or mint into the glass when serving.
