# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 240 ml sourdough discard (unfed, 100% hydration)
02 - 250 g all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
03 - 25 g granulated sugar
04 - 5 g salt
05 - 4 g baking powder
06 - 60 ml melted butter or coconut oil
07 - 80 ml warm milk (dairy or plant-based)

→ Filling

08 - 60 g softened butter
09 - 105 g brown sugar
10 - 8 g ground cinnamon
11 - 2.5 ml vanilla extract

→ Glaze

12 - 115 g cream cheese, softened
13 - 60 g powdered sugar
14 - 15 ml milk
15 - 2.5 ml vanilla extract

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine sourdough discard, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salt, baking powder, melted butter or coconut oil, and warm milk in a large bowl. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead gently on a floured surface for 2 to 3 minutes. Cover and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
02 - Roll the rested dough into a rectangle approximately 1 cm thick. Evenly spread softened butter over the surface. Sprinkle brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract over the buttered dough.
03 - Starting from the longer side, roll the dough into a tight log. Slice the log into pieces approximately 2.5 cm thick.
04 - Arrange the pieces on a lined baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 18 to 20 minutes, or air fry at 175°C for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
05 - Whisk softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together until smooth. Drizzle over warm bites before serving.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For a dairy-free version, substitute plant-based milk and vegan butter or coconut oil.
02 - Enhance the filling by incorporating finely chopped nuts or diced apples.
03 - Store in an airtight container and reheat briefly for best texture.
