Salmon Balls Creamy Avocado Sauce (Print Version)

Golden baked salmon balls served with smooth avocado sauce for a light, flavorful dish.

# Ingredients:

→ Salmon Balls

01 - 450 g fresh skinless salmon fillets
02 - 120 g plain breadcrumbs
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill or parsley
05 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
06 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Avocado Sauce

08 - 1 ripe avocado
09 - 125 g plain Greek yogurt
10 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
11 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Flake the salmon fillets into small pieces in a large mixing bowl.
03 - Add breadcrumbs, egg, chopped herbs, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the salmon. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
04 - Form the mixture into small balls, approximately 2.5 cm in diameter, and arrange them evenly on the prepared baking tray.
05 - Place the tray in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
06 - While the salmon balls bake, blend avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper together until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
07 - Serve the warm salmon balls immediately with the creamy avocado sauce on the side.

01 - Chilling the salmon mixture briefly before shaping can help maintain the shape during baking.
