# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil, divided
02 - 1 onion, thinly sliced
03 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic
04 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
05 - 2 large green bell peppers, halved and seeds removed
06 - 450 grams steak (minute, sirloin, etc.), cut into small pieces
07 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
08 - 2 slices provolone cheese
09 - 60 millilitres queso melting cheese

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium skillet, heat 1 teaspoon olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and minced garlic; season lightly with salt and pepper. Stir and arrange bell pepper halves cut-side down on top of the onions. Cover and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring onions occasionally, until onions are golden brown and peppers are tender. Lower the heat if needed to prevent burning. Uncover during the last few minutes to allow excess moisture to evaporate. Transfer onions and peppers to a large bowl.
02 - Add 1 teaspoon olive oil to the skillet and increase heat to medium-high. Toss steak pieces with Worcestershire sauce and cook in two batches, stirring occasionally, for 2–3 minutes per batch until browned and cooked through. Add an additional teaspoon of olive oil for the second batch. Combine cooked steak with the onions in the bowl and mix well.
03 - Place half a slice of provolone cheese at the base of each pepper half. Fill each with the steak and onion mixture. Gently heat the queso cheese until melted, then drizzle evenly over the stuffed peppers.
04 - Return stuffed peppers to the skillet over low heat. Cover and warm until cheese is fully melted and the dish is heated through.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Cook steak in batches to achieve even browning and avoid overcrowding the pan.
02 - Covering the peppers while cooking ensures they become soft and tender.
03 - If various types of cheese are unavailable, substitute with alternatives such as Monterey Jack, cheddar, or mozzarella.
04 - These stuffed peppers reheat well; consider preparing extra for later meals.
