# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 1 large French bread loaf or Italian bread loaf

→ Meat & Protein

02 - 450 g thinly sliced ribeye steak or deli roast beef

→ Vegetables

03 - 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
04 - 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
05 - 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

→ Fats & Oils

06 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
07 - 3 tablespoons melted butter

→ Aromatics & Seasonings

08 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
10 - Salt, to taste
11 - Black pepper, to taste
12 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

→ Cheese

13 - 200 g shredded provolone cheese or mozzarella cheese
14 - 60 g shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C. Prepare a baking sheet and set aside.
02 - Slice the top lengthwise off the French bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving a 2.5-cm thick wall. Reserve the removed bread for another use.
03 - Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and both bell peppers. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until softened and lightly caramelized.
04 - Stir minced garlic into the vegetables and cook for 1 minute. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak, season with salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook, stirring, until the steak is browned and just cooked through.
05 - Brush the inside of the hollowed loaf with melted butter. Sprinkle half of the shredded provolone (or mozzarella) cheese in the base of the loaf.
06 - Evenly spoon the hot steak and pepper mixture into the prepared bread. Top with the remaining provolone (or mozzarella) and optional cheddar cheese.
07 - Place the filled loaf onto the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes at 190°C, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For a golden crust, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes if desired.
08 - Brush the edges of the baked loaf with additional melted butter and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Slice into thick portions and serve warm.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Customize the vegetable mix as desired. For added spice, include jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce in the filling.
02 - Best enjoyed fresh from the oven, though leftovers can be refrigerated for up to two days.
