01 - 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ Filling

02 - 90 grams chopped pecans
03 - 100 grams granulated sugar
04 - 120 millilitres light corn syrup
05 - 28 grams unsalted butter, melted
06 - 5 millilitres pure vanilla extract
07 - 1 large egg

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture for topping.
03 - Fold chopped pecans into the remaining sugar mixture until thoroughly coated.
04 - Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles on the prepared tray. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of pecan filling on the wide end of each triangle, then roll up toward the pointed end.
05 - Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes or until crescent rolls are starting to set.
06 - Remove rolls from oven and brush with reserved sugar mixture. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
07 - Remove from oven and garnish with additional chopped pecans if desired. Serve warm.
