03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 packet taco seasoning or equivalent homemade blend
05 - 150 ml tomato sauce or salsa
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Taco Shells and Cheese

08 - 8 hard taco shells
09 - 200 g shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)

→ Fresh Toppings

10 - 100 g shredded lettuce
11 - 75 g diced tomatoes
12 - 40 g diced red onion
13 - 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

→ Optional Garnishes

14 - Sour cream, for serving
15 - Guacamole, for serving
16 - Jalapeño slices, as desired
17 - Hot sauce, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange taco shells upright in a suitable baking dish to maintain shape.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with finely diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat thoroughly.
03 - Add minced garlic and taco seasoning to the beef; stir until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for five minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
04 - Distribute seasoned beef mixture evenly into the prepared taco shells.
05 - Generously sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef in each shell. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese has melted and shells are golden and crisp.
06 - Remove tacos from oven. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion and cilantro. Serve immediately, with sour cream, guacamole, jalapeño slices, or hot sauce as desired.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Toppings are highly customizable; for added heat, include jalapeño slices before baking. Tacos may be assembled ahead and reheated in the oven.
