01 - 4 boneless chicken breasts, thinly pounded to 0.5–1.25 cm
02 - 4 slices Black Forest or honey ham
03 - 4 slices Swiss cheese, or substitute with Provolone or Gruyère
04 - 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour, gluten-free alternative optional
05 - 2 eggs, beaten (plant-based milk alternative possible)
06 - 1 cup (50 g) Panko breadcrumbs, gluten-free if required
07 - 0.25 cup (60 ml) olive oil, or butter, for frying

→ Creamy Mustard Sauce

08 - 0.5 cup (120 g) mayonnaise, or Greek yogurt
09 - 2 tablespoons (30 g) Dijon mustard, or yellow mustard
10 - 1 tablespoon (20 g) honey, or maple syrup
11 - 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice, or vinegar
12 - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce, optional, gluten-free if needed

→ Seasoning

13 - Salt, to taste
14 - Black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to 0.5–1.25 cm thickness. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
02 - Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with Panko breadcrumbs.
03 - Dredge each seasoned chicken breast in flour, then dip into the eggs, and finally coat evenly in seasoned Panko breadcrumbs.
04 - Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
05 - Top each piece of fried chicken with a slice of ham and then a slice of Swiss cheese.
06 - Bake chicken in preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, until an internal temperature of 74°C is reached and cheese is melted.
07 - In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
08 - Drizzle mustard sauce over cooked chicken just before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
