# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Sorbet Base

01 - 180 ml fresh lime juice (approximately 6 limes)
02 - 375 ml water
03 - 200 g granulated sugar
04 - 2 ml lime zest
05 - 15 ml light corn syrup (optional, enhances smooth texture)

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring frequently, for 3–4 minutes until sugar is fully dissolved.
02 - Remove saucepan from heat. Allow syrup to cool to room temperature before proceeding.
03 - Stir lime juice, lime zest, and light corn syrup (if using) into the cooled syrup until thoroughly integrated.
04 - Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container, spreading evenly.
05 - Place container in the freezer. Every 30 minutes, stir vigorously with a fork to break up ice crystals. Repeat for 3–4 hours until a fluffy, granita-like texture is achieved.
06 - Once the sorbet is smooth and firm, portion into bowls or glasses for serving.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For a finer texture, blend the mixture before freezing.
02 - Adjust sugar quantity to preference for sweeter results.
03 - Pairs elegantly with fresh berries or tropical fruits.
04 - Corn syrup assists with a smoother, less crystalline finish.
05 - Lime sorbet makes an excellent palate cleanser between courses.
