Combine sweetened condensed milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips in a medium saucepan. Melt over low heat, stirring continuously with a spatula until the mixture is completely smooth.

Add Kentucky bourbon to the melted mixture. Stir rapidly to fully integrate the bourbon.

Remove the pan from heat. Fold in chopped pecans, mixing thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into a prepared 20 x 20 cm baking dish. Use a spatula to distribute evenly and smooth the surface.

Let the fudge set in a cool environment for at least 3 to 4 hours, preferably overnight. Once firm, cut into squares before serving.
