Hot Honey Infused Feta Chicken (Print Version)

Juicy chicken glazed with spicy honey, topped with feta and fresh thyme for bold, balanced flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 3 tablespoons hot honey
03 - 120 grams crumbled feta cheese
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

→ Seasonings

05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
08 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
09 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Steps:

01 - Pat the chicken breasts dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
02 - Rub the chicken with olive oil, ensuring even coverage. Sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, then coat on all sides.
03 - Preheat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
04 - Place the chicken breasts in the hot skillet. Sear for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
05 - Reduce the heat to low and drizzle the hot honey over the seared chicken. Baste with a spoon and allow the honey to bubble for 1 to 2 minutes.
06 - Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 190°C. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 74°C.
07 - Remove the skillet from the oven. Sprinkle crumbled feta and fresh thyme evenly over the chicken. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute and the feta to soften.

# Notes:

01 - Letting the chicken rest before serving allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring maximum tenderness and the feta to meld seamlessly with the glaze.
02 - An oven-safe skillet provides a seamless transition from stovetop searing to oven baking.
03 - Adjust spice level by modifying the amount or type of hot honey used.
