Hobo Casserole Ground Beef (Print-Friendly Format)

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
03 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

05 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Cheese and Liquids

08 - 170 g shredded cheddar cheese
09 - 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 120 ml beef broth or water

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C. Grease a 23 x 33 cm baking dish with oil or non-stick spray.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking up any clumps, for 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the onions are softened and translucent.
04 - Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Arrange the potato slices over the beef in an even layer. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
05 - Sprinkle cheddar and Parmesan cheeses uniformly over the potatoes. Carefully pour beef broth or water around the edges of the baking dish.
06 - Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
07 - Remove foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
