Herb and Cheese Puff Bites (Print-Friendly Format)

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Filling

01 - 115 grams cream cheese, softened
02 - 110 grams shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
03 - 15 grams fresh mixed herbs, finely chopped (such as parsley or chives)
04 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Pastry

07 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

→ Egg Wash

08 - 1 egg, beaten

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese blend, chopped herbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.
03 - Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 7.5 cm squares.
04 - Place one tablespoon of filling in the centre of each square. Fold the pastry over to form triangles and press edges with a fork to seal.
05 - Place the filled pastry triangles on the prepared baking tray. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
