01 - 1 prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes

→ Fruit

02 - 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
03 - 1 can (595 g) fruit pie filling or fruit topping, optional (strawberry or cherry)

→ Pudding Layer

04 - 1 box (96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
05 - 375 ml (1½ cups) cold milk
06 - 240 ml (1 cup) sour cream

→ Topping

07 - 480 ml (2 cups) whipped topping (store-bought or homemade)
08 - Caramel or berry sauce, for drizzling
09 - Additional mixed berries and whipped cream swirls, for garnish

# How to Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Blend in the sour cream until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
02 - Arrange half of the angel food cake cubes evenly in the bottom of a trifle dish or large glass bowl. Evenly scatter half of the mixed berries and, if desired, spoon half the fruit filling over the cake.
03 - Gently spread half of the prepared pudding mixture over the fruit and cake layer.
04 - Repeat the layering process using the remaining cake cubes, mixed berries, fruit filling if using, and pudding mixture.
05 - Spread the whipped topping over the final layer. Drizzle caramel or berry sauce over the top. Garnish with extra fresh berries and swirls of whipped cream as desired.
06 - Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld before serving.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For enhanced flavor, substitute homemade whipped cream for store-bought topping.
02 - This dessert can be prepared a day in advance for optimal convenience.
03 - Mixed berries may be swapped with other seasonal fruits to suit preference.
