16 - Salt, to taste

→ Optional Add-Ins

17 - Mashed sweet potato for topping, as desired
18 - Grated cheese for topping, as desired
19 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until no longer pink, breaking it into small pieces. Transfer turkey to a plate and set aside.
02 - In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant. Add diced carrots, peas, and corn; cook for 3 to 5 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.
03 - Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and broth. Let simmer for several minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
04 - Return cooked turkey to the skillet. Mix thoroughly and season to taste with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat.
05 - If preparing mashed potatoes from scratch, boil peeled potatoes until tender, drain, and mash with butter, milk (or dairy-free alternative), and salt to taste.
06 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Evenly spread the turkey and vegetable filling into a baking dish. Layer mashed potatoes over the filling, smoothing with a spatula. Add toppings such as grated cheese if desired.
07 - Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For a lighter variation, mashed cauliflower or sweet potato can replace regular potatoes in the topping.
02 - Letting the dish rest after baking helps the filling set for clean servings.
