Coconut Lime Ice Cream (Print-Friendly Format)

Creamy frozen treat blends coconut and lime for a refreshing, dairy-free dessert perfect for warm days.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main

01 - 875 millilitres full-fat coconut milk, shaken well
02 - 160 millilitres sweetener, such as agave nectar; alternatives: pure maple syrup, raw honey, cane sugar, or allulose
03 - 120 millilitres freshly squeezed lime juice (from approximately 3 large or 4 small limes)
04 - 1.25 to 2.5 millilitres sea salt, adjusted to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Ensure coconut milk is at room temperature for optimal blending; avoid using chilled or cold coconut milk to achieve smooth consistency.
02 - Before mixing ingredients, place storage container in the freezer unless serving immediately to promote better texture during freezing.
03 - Combine coconut milk, chosen sweetener, lime juice, and sea salt in a blender. Blend until fully smooth and all ingredients are dissolved, about 25 seconds.
04 - Start ice cream maker and pour in the mixture. Churn for approximately 25 minutes until the mixture is expanded and frozen to soft-serve consistency.
05 - Serve as fresh soft serve, or transfer to the pre-chilled container. For best results, enjoy within 3 days.
06 - If frozen solid, defrost ice cream on the counter for about 20 minutes before scooping to achieve optimal texture.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For optimal mouthfeel, always use coconut milk containing only coconut and water.
02 - Use parchment paper over the surface before sealing container to minimize ice crystal formation.
